  20. is te zyxel 1496 a ISDN MODEM? is the courier an ISDN MODEM? you cant make
  21. a connection if the usr modem is only set up to answer isdn calls..
  22. do you hear any answer tones when you have your speaker on? i think
  23. we need more info here.
